Amazing wildlife Treasures in Kenya

Africa Beach Wildlife and Conservancy

Kenya National Parks and Game Reserves is where both locals and tourist go to experience Kenya safaris and beach vacations. Holidaymakers usually book Kenya safari packages or tailor-made private tours.

Kenya's safari industry is backed up by an efficient tourist infrastructure with a dazzling choice of camps and game lodges to suit all budgets. This is, after all, where modern safaris were invented back in the Twenties.

On the other hand in reserves, human activities are allowed under specific conditions. These activities are for instance firewood collection in terrestrial reserves or fishing in marine reserves.

These Marine Parks are:- Kisite-Mpunguti Marine National Park, Kiunga Marine Park, Malindi Marine National Park, Mombasa Marine National Park and Reserve, Diani Chale Marine National Reserve.

The Conservancy boasts the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa; in 2013, it reached a population milestone of 100 black rhino. It also houses the two remaining northern white rhino in the world, who were moved there from Dv?r Králové Zoo in the Czech Republic. The Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary is situated here which provides a haven for orphaned, abandoned, and rescued chimpanzees. It is the only place in Kenya where chimpanzees can be seen.

National Park within the city
Nairobi National Park

It’s probably the most unique national park in the world. Where else can you spot lions, rhino, buffalo and giraffe just minutes from a national capital city. Only 7 km (4 miles) from the heart of downtown, Nairobi National Park is a wonder of wildlife in a grassland setting but framed by the skyscrapers of bustling Nairobi in the background.

It’s Kenya’s first national park and so accessible that you can take a 1 or even ½ day trip there, see more wildlife than most places in the world, and be back in town for dinner (or to see more of Nairobi’s attractions).
