Volunteering Programs in Kenya

Volunteering is a powerful means of engaging people in tackling development challenges, and it can transform the pace and nature of development. Volunteering benefits both society at large and the individual volunteer by strengthening trust, solidarity and reciprocity among citizens, and by purposefully creating opportunities for participation. Volunteering is universal and inclusive, and recognizes diversity as well as the values that sustain it: free will, commitment, engagement and solidarity.

The aim of this Voluntourism Program is for participants to contribute to the Strategic Empowerment Program [SEP] and East Kano Community in a short space of time.

This volunteer program covers a range of Projects to address Education and Community Development in Kenya, specifically East Kano Community. It offers the volunteers an opportunity to engage in the development activities and interact with the local culture.
